<p>Saturday, February 27, 2010, at 6:30 p.m. at the Samuel Lynne Galleries at 1105 Dragon Street. TASTE, the annual Dallas Junior Chamber of Commerce (DJCC) wine tasting, is one of our signature philanthropic events. All proceeds from the evening will benefit the DJCC Easter Egg Hunt for the Blind later this spring and the Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS), which assists visually-impaired individuals and their families. You don&#8217;t want to miss out on this exciting evening!</p>
<p><strong>Online ticket purchase is no longer available for TASTE; however, tickets are still available at the door for $40.  Below is a map to Samuel Lynne Galleries.  Street parking is available.  Please remember to bring a state issued ID to the event.</strong></p>

<p>This year&#8217;s TASTE will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2010, at 6:30 p.m. at the Samuel Lynne Galleries, located in the Dallas Design District. Samuel Lynne Galleries represents the Reflectionists and 21st Century Contemporary artists with an extensive collection of 3-D Oils, Originals on Canvas, Mixed Media and Sculpture.</p>
<p>Each guest of TASTE will get the opportunity to sample and discover up to ten premier wines from around the world. Light hors d&#8217;oeuvres will be served and guests will also have the chance to bid on exciting silent auction items while enjoying the vibrant art featured throughout the gallery.</p>
<p>Tickets are $35 for DJCC members and $40 for non-members. Personal and corporate sponsorships are also available at a variety of levels and are a great way to show your support of this important event and the DJCC.</p>
<p>We count on over 40 volunteers to help make this event a success. Numerous volunteer opportunities are available for event planning as well as help the night of the event. Volunteers will be responsible for a variety of duties incudiing event publicity, event set up, sponsorships, guest registration, wine pouring, and other logistics. We invite you to volunteer as well as get your friends and colleagues involved.</p>

This program honors individuals from Greater Dallas under 40 years of age, who have distinguished themselves through outstanding achievement and/or contribution benefiting their respective professional field and community. One or more nominations may be submitted by an individual, organization, association, institution and/or Junior Chamber chapter. Winners will be selected by the selection committee separate from DJCC.</p>

<p>Please complete this form (download or online) and submit with answers to the four questions on the following page (no more than 20 additional pages will be accepted). You may attach newspaper articles or other published reports as supporting materials. Nominees must sign the nomination form. 2007 DJCC President (JCI Dallas)</p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">Kevin Buehler is a product definer for Maxim Semiconductor.  He is responsible for creating new product offerings and new product lines.  In this role, he creates innovative semiconductor solutions for major electronics companies around the world.  Kevin began his engineering career at Raytheon designing FLIR night-vision systems.  He next worked in various engineering roles at Cisco Systems including long-haul fiberoptic system design and SONET/SDH telecom system architecture.</p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">Kevin has been actively involved in the Dallas Junior Chamber for seven years.  He first served on various committees, then later moved to the board as VP of Finance.  In 2006 he served as the Executive Vice President.   In 2007 he was elected President.  Kevin is an active particpant in JCI events at the international level including attending World Congresses and recently the Conference of the Americas .  He has completed the first level of the Junior Chamber International training certification program.</p>

<p>Jaime Chambron, a Harvard graduate in computer science, is a senior director level leader for SunGard Higher Education.  She manages a multi-million dollar revenue generating team of 42 consultants to deliver best practices and solutions to unify an institution’s digital campus.  Jaime was recognized in 2009with an Emerald award from SunGard Higher Education, given to only the top seven employees of the 2500+ employee firm, for excelling revenue generation goals in these tough economic times by finding and quickly taking to market new consulting services.  She also frequently speaks at international conferences on behalf of her team.</p>
<p>Outside of work, Jaime has been active with the Dallas Junior Chamber for seven years both locally and in attending JCI Americas and World Congresses representing JCI Dallas. Most recently she completed her first level of Junior Chamber International training certification and continues to facilitate the build out of a five year strategic plan for the DJCC.  She looks forward to coaching DJCC members to be great leaders in the months and years to come.</p>
